how i spent my cny day 1 and 2.

today turned out to be quite fun actually. ah boy’s gf came over to bai nian and we (mommy, ah boy, ah boy’s gf and i) played mahjong! all of us won a bit except ah boy hahaha he was the biggest loser and he still said he’s mahjong king -.- but it was really fun :)

yesterday was spent puking, having diarrhea and sleeping at both my grandma’s and ah gong’s houses :( i felt so terrible the moment i woke up, puked like mad and i was so dizzy. the drive to grandma’s place only made me felt worse. i slept for like damn long when i got to ah gong’s place and by then, i was a little much better but i didn’t have any appetite for anything.

im not sure what i ate that made me fall sick. i only had a reunion dinner with daddy’s side on cny eve and everyone was okay. hmmm maybe it’s the food poisoning virus from ah boy hahaha

i feel so much better today but there’s no more visiting to be done so im stuck at home. sian and there’s no tv show to watch too :( and i’ve got to complete my international business assignment which is due for submission tomorrow.

how i spent my chinese new year eve.

ah boy got food poisoning from the catered food at his ndu amazing race two days ago. we thought he kinda recovered already but he was in huge pain halfway through the reunion dinner and daddy had to drive all of us to A&E. there were so many people at the A&E man we literally spent the whole night waiting there. was so worried about ah boy cos he really looked like he was going to die :( but he is feeling better now! hope the pain goes away man.

oh man and after spending the whole night at the A&E, my mommy is sick now D:

we shared a cigarette somewhere.

HAHAHAHA ah boy trying out facetime! he was so happy he kept asking me to teach him all the iphone stuff and i looked so chui cos i was so stressed out doing bahasa indo :(

had lunch with terence lina and vera today after class! actually i didn’t eat cos i was supposed to go to gym but terence asked me to go lunch with him and so i did. it was nice catching up with everyone and lina is soooo funny

headed to the school gym after lunch. it’s the first time since last december that i stepped into the gym. i don’t like the gym locker now it’s so troublesome to even open the locker haha the first thing i did was to step onto the weighing machine cos i haven’t weigh myself in the longest time ever and what a pleasant surprise! im 50kg now YAY!!!!! hahaha my ideal weight is 48kg though. but it’s okay i’ll jiayou jiayou jiayou :)

there’s gonna be a long weekend cos of chinese new year and im thankful for that! i wanna catch up with all the dramas that i’ve missed but it would also mean that there’s gonna be quite a few make-up classes to go for :( and i haven’t gotten anything to wear for cny! all my new dresses are black in colour but mommy said it’s okay to wear black cos no one cares hahaha

selamat malam. nama saya Amber, sekarang dua puluh tiga tahun. saya adalah seorang mahasiswa, jurusan akutansi dan lagi studi tahun terakhir di SMU. ada empat anggota dalam keluarga saya. saya sangat cinta sama keluargaku :)

anyhow, tomorrow is my last day of the week! and it’s only 1.5 hours of bahasa indo! YAY

classes have been pretty okay so far, except for ethics. totally have no clue what the prof wants -.- i attended my first international business class today! it was damn slack and pretty easy to understand but the prof kept calling me to answer questions hahaha but it was alright. we had two breaks cos the prof said we all looked damn tired and we ended class early too! woohooo and the prof is soooooo funny everytime we ask him a question, he will go ‘HARRR?’ in a really loud voice. hahahaha damn cute and i like my group mates :)

monday was bad cos i had bahasa indo in the morning and had nothing to do from 12pm to 7pm. by the time i got to strategy class, i was so tired i couldn’t even concentrate at all :( sighs i need to find something to do during the free time man. but thanks god daddy and mommy came and fetched me! hahaha but we went chinatown instead and bought so much muachi and jelly! and then we went maxwell for supper haha i was so sleepy by the time i got home.

ah boy just got back home and he has officially switched from blackberry to iphone too! welcome to the apple club :)

and it’s gonna be chinese new year in a few days’ time!

friday i’m in love.

im really really happy now cos i’ve finally gotten all my modules! :D

hahaha the thing is, i actually only got bahasa indonesian in this bidding window and didn’t get any grs, which is bad because there are only so few grs modules to choose from.

i emailed the school like many many times, specifically requesting to be slot into international business class. i thought they wouldn’t bother much and would just put me into any other grs classes with vacancies since international business is already full but they just replied me saying my appeal is successful!

YAY!!!

but they are going to deduct 1.2 times of the highest successful bid from the previous window, which means i’ll have negative e$ now! HAHAHA but i don’t really care i was soooo happy i immediately told so many people about it hahaha mark’s gonna get a pleasant surprise when he sees me in class on wed :)

and my timetable is really shitty now. 4 day week T.T

mon 1015 – 1145 bahasa indo & 1900 – 2215 strategy

tues 1530 – 1845 ethics

wed 1200 – 1515 international business

thurs 1015 – 1145 bahasa indo

hahaha it sucks right. ah but whatever.

anyhow, i met amanda for lunch today! her office just shifted to tanjong pagar and guess what?! i brought her to passion cafe! hahahaha aww i miss passion cafe. even though you’ll smell bad after lunch but still love the place somehow heee

and then in the evening, i met nadirah for coffee and dessert! it’s like a weekly thing now, us meeting up and just filling each other with what happened for the week, which is really really nice :)

nadirah was saying, a1 and blue are coming to singapore for a concert on 28 feb! yes, the boy bands we used to love back then in secondary school! haha we were even contemplating whether to go for it just to see how they look like now.

‘same old line one more time say you’re gonna be there for me say you’ll change change your ways never gonna keep your promises’ HAHAHA it’s still stuck in my head after so long :)

it would be pretty cool to go for the concert hahaha i used to love a1! my favourite’s definitely ben, the centre-parting hair chubby boy heeheee

as usual, i didn’t get any of the modules i bidded for! hahaha what’s new. the worse thing now is, instead of three modules, i only have two cos i dropped singapore studies lol im so fail.

anyhow, lunched with chiaming and kim at strictly pancakes! i quite like the pancakes actually haha it was damn filling! i was so full i could feel my tummy. and it was soooo nice catching up :) really miss chiaming man. i can’t wait for the rest to all come back and hang out together again! ohoh and thanks chiaming for the stuff! :)

met mark after that and we went food for thought :) omg i was so full from the pancakes and mark still ordered stuff for me to eat. it was so bad i only ate so little haha then we walked around and hung out. it was nice :)

im really really tired now though. and i hope people start dropping modules soon i need to bid for something.. hahaha

strategy turned out to be the funnest module of all the modules i have this semester for now. the prof is really nice but strategy itself is damn boring. and omg it’s sooo much like ama. all the flashbacks and awful memories of ama o.o hahaha

singapore studies is zzz hahaha the moment the prof started off by asking ‘what is singapore?’ i was like, okay im so totally going to drop this module. and i did hahaha bidded for icc but there’s only four vacancies so i may not get it. haha we’ll see how when the bidding result releases at 2pm later.

i also bidded for international business which i don’t really hope i get it. haha wanted to bid for global mega trends but it would mean i have to meet my nemesis lol so i’ll see how too.

ethics is boring.

hahaha this semester is, i don’t know, a really boring semester. the three classes i’ve attended were all damn boring and it sucks because im going to graduate soon and i don’t see anyone in school anymore. well i guess it’s cos i don’t know any of the freshies but yeah it’s pretty sian.

but i bumped into chiaming yesterday!! and a few other people. it was really nice to see friends, especially chiaming! hahaha haven’t seen her in the longest time ever! the moment we saw each other, we were like, AHHHHH, and ran towards each other and hugged lol and im meeting her and kim for lunch later! :)

school :(

today’s the first day of school and im already dreading it :( im not really excited about it somehow, i wonder why.

i have strategy class later but it’s at 7pm! booo :( i hate to say this but it’s all thanks to mark that we are stuck with this 7pm class ugh i’ve never ever had a 7pm class before and i don’t want it! i think it’s worse than a 830am class :( imagine what time it’ll be by the time i get home!! :(:(

sighs and i haven’t gotten all my modules yet haha i still need grs and maybe ge arts. am contemplating on dropping my current ge arts but all the other modules im interested in only have like one vacancy each zzz i guess i’ll see how when the time comes hahaha

just finished my readings for tomorrow’s class and i’ve got nothing to do now. really so not excited about school..

people say crazy things.

oh man even this season of the amazing race sucks! andy and tommy weren’t in the final three! :( they were leading all the way and got lost at the end. it was so close they came in fourth :( omg reality tv sucks all of a sudden. i really wish there would be another the amazing race all stars and andy and tommy get asked to go on it again! :(:(

i just had the amazing race marathon, watched like six episodes and am left with the last two! i can’t wait to continue watching tomorrow, i wanna know who the winners are!

i really like andy and tommy! andy in particular, he’s the hairy one lol they are professional snowboarders who were in the olympic before i think. they are really funny and competitive, think they won like 6 out of 10 legs. i sure hope they win the race!!

and the amazing race is so different now! the biggest thing i noticed was that they no longer hop onto the mat when they reach the pit stop anymore! they had to stop just before the mat :( they used to hop onto the mat right?? i like it when they hop onto the mat hahaha and they don’t have clue boxes now too! all the clues are hidden in weird places like in a bin or a letter box or just placed in some funny places.

anyhow it’s 12.51am now, wayyy past my supposedly sleeping time which is 10pm. i need to go and sleep now cos i have to wake up at 7am tomorrow. hope i don’t oversleep haha and i think we might be really going to US for our grad trip, which would be the awesome-st thing yet :)
